Many serious Learners enter studies not intending to obtain a new degree, but rather to enhance personal and professional knowledge. You may want to advance in your present career, acquire the background to make a career change, or make up academic deficiencies before entering a degree program.

Other Learners want to explore a particular academic field and specialization before committing to a specific degree program. If you want to take a course or two and begin your own exploration, NCU is the school for you. You will receive the same help and one-on-one support from our staff and Faculty Mentors as our degree-seeking Learners.

If you later decide to seek a degree and apply for admission to a degree program, your non-degree study credits will be evaluated and may be applied, if appropriate, to the degree requirements.
